Kate Letourneau is a board-certified nurse practitioner, providing primary care for people age 16 and up.

Kate started her practice to provide compassionate, relationship-based primary care. She seeks to earn her patient's trust, and to serve as a guide to our often complex medical system. Kate prioritizes patient understanding, and enjoys helping people learn about their health and treatment options - finding the right blend of conventional medicine and lifestyle therapy for each patient.  She was trained in mind-body-health through the Benson-Henry Institute at MGH, and loves helping patients incorporate this knowledge and practice into their lives.

Kate graduated with a double major in Biology and Science in Society from Wesleyan University, then worked in science education and public health research.  She studied nursing at the MGH Institute of Health Professions, and graduated with honors in 2014 before becoming a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner.  Kate then moved home to Maine to work at a small family practice in Kennebunk. She is grateful to her physician mentors there for their guidance and for sharing the joy of patient-centered primary care.

Outside of clinical practice,  Kate loves gardening, thrifting, outdoor adventures big and small, the beach, and - most of all - spending time with her husband Andy and daughter Eve.
